Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United have been alerted to the possibility of signing AC Milan playmaker Keisuke Honda this summer, with the player seeking a departure from the Serie A club, according to Calcio News 24.

Having struggled to maintain a healthy amount of game time for the Rossoneri, Honda is now looking for an exit with hopes of regular football in another division, and its rumoured that the Premier League would be an attractive proposition for the Japan international.
Honda has made 80 appearances for his country- starring at two World Cups and racking up over 350 appearances for his clubs, including VVV in Holland, CSKA Moscow and Milan.

Spurs and the Hammers are reportedly interested in taking in a player of Honda's pedigree, seeing his technical ability as something that could be of huge value to them due to his tendency to create chances out of nowhere.

West Ham are looking to finish the season strongly, and are contenders to finish in the Europa League, or possibly even in the Champions League, with just five points separating them from fourth spot.

Mauricio Pochettino usually entrusts in much younger personnel, but with Honda's experience and quality, the Argentine might be persuaded to arrange a deal for the Japanese Midfielder to come in and share his talents with the Spurs squad.

Pochettino's men are looking to catch up to Leicester in the title race, but look certain to finish in the Champions League spots- something that might entice Honda to move to North London instead of West.
